I was employed as the Content Manager for this inspiring Swedish tech startup. My goal was to grow the Google search positioning and drive an increase in organic traffic to the brands website. The secondary goal was to improve time spent on the page and click-through to further content.
The tactic was to build out 5 content pillars of unique content around the brand and the product, focusing on keyword search intent and education around the product.
The results:
- In just 6 months, the brand was positioned on in the top 3 results of Google for 7 out of 10 of their top keywords, including brand name and product name!
- Organic traffic increased in all top 5 of their target locations: Sweden 16%, UK 40%, Netherlands 50%, Germany 62%, and the USA by 36%!
- Average page sessions increased to 2.4
